Heading into 2014 Elections

June 3, 2014 – Ardmore, PA – The Republican Committee of Lower Merion and Narberth announced today a slate of new committee leadership to strengthen our community. Last night at a committee meeting in Narberth Borough Hall, the committee unanimously elected Elizabeth Preate Havey, who has been an integral member of the committee for more than a decade and active in local and state elections, chair of the committee.

The full executive committee is as follows:

· Elizabeth Preate Havey, Chair

· Perry Hamilton, Vice Chair

· Karen Aydt, Municipal Chair

· Ralph Grasso, Secretary

· Joseph Sgro, Treasurer

“I am thrilled with this leadership team and group of newly elected committee people in the Republican Committee of Lower Merion Township and Narberth who are committed to strengthening our community,” said Elizabeth Preate Havey, chair of the Republican Committee of Lower Merion and Narberth. “We have a strong group of women and men of all ages committed to fiscally responsible and effective government. I look forward to working together to advance solutions and elect leaders that share these critical goals.”

“RCLMN will be focused on making our community an even better place to live, work and raise a family. From raising awareness on important issues to providing opportunities to get involved, we want to be the place where our community rallies to make things better,” Havey added.

“And as we work to revitalize our local Republican party, we will recall these words from President Ronald Reagan when he said, ‘The Republican Party…is a broad party. There is room in our tent for many views; indeed, the divergence of views is one of our strengths,’” Havey concluded. “We want to bring our community together to get things done. Join Us!”
