For more than 30 years, Perry has been working in the private business sector in industries ranging from commercial banking, automobiles, lumber and currently finished carpentry. Perry has always appreciated that this is an important area of our economy where family-sustaining jobs are formed. Beginning in 1987, Perry started volunteering at the polls and became a committeeperson several years later. In 2012, Perry ran for State House Representative of the 149th against two-time incumbent, Tim Briggs. Perry lost that election but gained valuable political experience and a zest for the political advocacy of the Republican Party. Over the years, Perry has been active in The Merion Cricket Club, Stony Lane Swim Club, All Saints’ Church, Wynnewood Civic Association, The Federation of Civic Associations, Public Access Television, and the Lower Merion Historical Society. Perry is a lifelong Lower Merion and Narberth resident. He and his wife Betsy live in Wynnewood where they raised their 3 children.
